AKtion Club of Martin County

Coordinates the operation of the AKtion Club of Martin County with their meetings, fundraising, and service projects. Aktion Club is the only service club for adults with disabilities. Club members become competent, capable, caring leaders through the vehicle of service. Contact the ARC of Martin County 772-288-2129 for more information. The AKtion Club meets 2nd Wednesday of each month at 9:15 am. Everyone in the ARC ADT program participates and attends meetings. We maintain 20 paid memberships in the Kiwanis roster online. Members assist in maintaining Kiwanis park each month picking up trash, debris and weeding the brick area in addition members suggest, vote on and participate in a monthly community service projects. Past projects include Making and donating school supply bins for the classrooms at Gertrude Walden Childcare Center, and Donating, bibs, diapers and wash cloths for babies to Care.Net.
