2012 Sporting Clay Fundraising Event for the Boundless Playground
One of our most recent fundraisers was a Sporting Clay Tournament held at South Florida Shooting Club on November 17, 2012.
Photos of the event may be seen by clicking on "Photos - Picasa" on the menu shown on the left side of this page.
The Tournament raised funds for the next phase of the Kiwanis Park at Woodlawn. This phase will add a "Boundless Playground" which is has playground equipment for children with disabilities. A draft of the playground and other details about the playground may be seen by clicking on "Boundless Playground" on the menu shown on the left side of this page.
The Polaris Ranger raffled at the Tournment was won by Gordon Proctor.
Thanks to our sponsors, shooters, auction item donors, South FL Shooting Club, Manero's Restaurant, raffle ticket purchasers, and everyone else who helped with the event and who thereby have helped with funding for the Boundless Playground at Kiwanis Park.
Special thanks to Chappy Young, Jennifer Williamson and Steven Swann who, as non-club members, led our club through all of the details involved in the fundraiser. Their guidance was absolutely necessary and is greatly appreciated.
