The 6th Annual Kiwanis Club of Stuart College Football Event was held on Friday, July 27, 2012 at the Lyric Theatre.

                                                 Event Summary

The Kiwanis Club of Stuart will present the 6th annual College Football Preview at the Lyric Theatre on Friday, July 27, 2012.  The evening starts with doors opening at 6:30 pm.  A Chinese Auction of many items will run from 6:30 to approximately 7:20 in the back stage room of the Lyric (accessible by a separate door on Flagler Avenue).  

At 7:30 a live auction of vacations, plane rides, a golf outing at the Bears Club and other special items will be presented in the auditorium by local auctioneer Drew Pittman.  

Following the live auction the presenters will be welcomed by cheer leaders and will be introduced by Referee Rich Campbell. Well known speakers for UF, FSU, UM, USF, UCF, and FAU will give updates and forecasts of the upcoming college football season.  Mixed with humor, the speakers will tell it like it is - team strengths & weaknesses, recruiting, coaching, and other aspects of the upcoming season. There will be a question and answer session after the presentations.

                                                     Chinese Auction

A Chinese Auction will be held from 6:30 to approximately 7:20 pm in the back room of the Lyric (behind the stage).  Access will be through doors on either side of the Theatre.   No entrance will be allowed from inside the Theatre itself except for those with wheelchairs.   We will have Kiwanians and signs on the sidewalks to direct you to the room.  To participate in the Chinese auction simply purchase tickets from one of the Kiwanians and place the tickets in the containers for the items you wish to try to win.  You will increase your chances to win by placing more tickets in your desired containers. When the Chinese Auction ends the Live Auction will begin in the theatre with auctioneer Drew Pittman.  While the Live Auction is being held we will have the winning tickets of the Chinese Auction drawn and the winners will be posted on sign boards in the Theatre.  Be sure to check the boards at the end of the event.There will be a bar in the back room for beer, wine, and soft drink purchases.Manero's restaurant will also be set up in the back room with box dinners for your purchase.The following is a partial list of the items to be sold at the Chinese Auction:
