A MESSAGE FROM SARAH PAUST, KEY CLUB LT. GOVERNOR
April 20, 2015: The following is a message from Sarah Paust, a member of the SFHS Key Club and newly elected Division 16 Lieutenant Governor for Key Club.
Dear Key Clubs of Division 16,
Hello, my name is Sarah Paust.
I am a junior at South Fork High School, and I am the new Lieutenant Governor of Division 16 of the Florida District of Key Club International! I was officially installed as Lieutenant Governor this past month at our District Conference. I am so fortunate and honored to be in this position! Truly, it has been the greatest privilege to begin to serve our division, and I couldn't be more excited for the new year. I have a few important things I wanted to send in this email.
Division 16 is comprised of the following clubs of Martin, Indian River, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee Counties:
1) Indian River Charter High School.
2) Jensen Beach High School.
3) Lincoln Park Academy.
4) Martin County High School.
5) Okeechobee High School.
6) South Fork High School.
7) St. Edward's School.
8) Vero Beach Senior High School.
I am looking forward to helping us improve upon our success from last year as well as encourage a renewed focus on community service in our division. I hope to do this through incorporating community service into Divisional Council Meetings (DCMs), which are meetings of all the Key Clubs in this area, as well as other interdivisional service opportunities. One of my goals is to increase member attendance at DCMs by incorporating member empowerment and interaction as a key part of the agenda. I can't wait to meet all of you and share our ideas for projects and new opportunities.
Furthermore, I hope we can have open lines of communication this year. Throughout the year I plan to send several service opportunities your way, so please be on the lookout! I also will be communicating with you about several highly beneficial events which include informational workshops, motivational speakers, and even more exciting service initiatives. I am especially excited to announce our new Governor's Project, Key Goes Green. which will focus on environmental awareness, advocacy, and action.
I would be extremely thankful if current club officers could ensure that their successors see this email and receive my contact information. If you ever need assistance with any Key Club matter, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am incredibly excited to be in this position and know that we are going to have a phenomenal year. Additionally, you are always welcome to call, text, or email me for anything, whether to share your concerns, brainstorm ideas, or just to chat! I really want to get to know each of you personally, and I promise I don't bite.
I look forward to serving you this year!
Yours in service,
Lt. Governor Division 16
